animal rights causes worldwide!

Our Mission Statement:

"UNDOING SYSTEMS OF OPPRESSION"

Each composition within our repertoire is produced utilizing only fundamental audio engineering techniques,

adhering strictly to a philosophy of authenticity:

**No Audio Effects Processors Utilized**

An assortment of vintage microphones has been meticulously selected for each performance, chosen for their

distinct frequency response and tonal coloration.

Furthermore, no additional alterations were applied to these recordings throughout the mixing and mastering processes,

preserving the sonic integrity of the original performance.

The vocalist from The Animal Rights Band has a distinct recording philosophy that emphasizes authenticity and rawness in their music. Each vocal performance is captured in a single take, with no overdubs, voice doubling, or harmonies. This approach means that listeners experience the unfiltered essence of the vocalist's artistry, as every recording is rendered in its entirety without any punch edits. While it's not uncommon to lay down more than three takes during a session, the band typically strives to use take one, showcasing the immediacy and emotional impact that comes from capturing a performance in its most genuine form. This commitment to simplicity and honesty sets their sound apart in an era often dominated by studio enhancements.

The Animal Rights Band embodies a unique art movement where each member views themselves as an integral part of a collective, prioritizing the message over individual recognition. By choosing to remain anonymous, they create a space where the focus shifts from personal identities to the shared values and ideals that underpin their music. This anonymity fosters a sense of unity and collaboration, allowing their artistic expressions to resonate more deeply with their audience. The band’s commitment to collective identity serves as a powerful statement about the importance of community and solidarity in advocating for animal rights, emphasizing that their music is not about individual fame but rather about a shared mission to inspire change and raise awareness. Through this collaborative ethos, they challenge conventional norms in the music industry and encourage listeners to engage with their message on a more profound level.

Over the years, I have steadfastly maintained that it is indeed possible to produce a professional music recording without the use of any audio signal processors, achieving a sound quality that rivals, if not surpasses, conventional recordings.

I have meticulously developed a method that enables the close-mic recording of multiple instruments, capturing their full frequency range while mixing the project entirely devoid of signal processors or mastering—without even utilizing busses!

This innovative process took over four years to refine before I felt confident in its ability to sonically match any contemporary popular recording. The results have exceeded even my most ambitious expectations.

My aspiration was to create an album with an almost orchestral grandeur.

The vision was to evoke a Rock Crooning Big Band vibe, yet driven by the powerful resonance of pianos alone. 10 concert stage grand pianos to be exact.

**Piano Rocks** is engineered to ensure that when played on handheld devices, it mimics the sound quality of popular recordings, as these devices lack the capability to adequately reproduce the lower frequencies inherent in the recordings.

On a tablet or laptop, the audio resembles that of FM radio for the same reason.

However, when experienced on a an amplified stereo system, listeners are treated to the full spectrum of audio frequencies, delivering a symphonic experience.

It's widely acknowledged in the music industry that frequencies below 200 Hz are often cut, but not in these recordings!

When you listen to The Animal Rights Band in your car, you'll feel the resonant boom of the floor toms beneath your feet.

It’s sonically exhilarating!
